Moulin à vent de Dosches

"In Dosches, on the edge of the Forêt d'Orient Regional Natural Park, the Moulin de Dosches spreads its wings at the top of the village and invites you on a journey to the heart of Champagne's heritage.

A real working windmill, built entirely of wood using traditional techniques, it is accompanied by a unique towable mill, which bears witness to the peasant genius of yesteryear. At its feet, a medieval-inspired garden, hedges and a small orchard create a natural setting conducive to strolling.

But this site, passionately supported by a team of committed volunteers, is also a place where know-how is passed on to the public: flour production with manual mills, demonstrations, old-fashioned wooden games, and the "La Meule" plant labyrinth for young and old complete the visit in a spirit that is both fun and educational.

A key site in the region, the Moulin de Dosches embodies a sensitive approach to tourism, combining rural history, sharing and highlighting simple gestures.
